Event description

Description

The Citizenship and Employment Precarity (CEP) research project studies how citizenship and legal status impact job prospects and health over time.

We are launching a survey of persons living in the Greater Toronto Area who arrived in Canada without permanent residence. The survey will gather evidence on the intersections of precarious legal status trajectories and precarious work and its impact on financial debt, health and well-being. The research team is particularly interested in reaching racialized groups and non-English speakers.

Project Event – What to Expect

  • Learn about the CEP survey’s key components and benefits for participants

  • Provide input on survey outreach for underrepresented groups

  • Network with staff in settlement, employment and social service sectors

  • A hot lunch!
