The City of Toronto's Indigenous Affairs Office (IAO) is leading to advance reconciliation and justice for Indigenous People living in Toronto. In partnership with colleagues from City Divisions and Indigenous service and community organizations, the IAO is developing a Reconciliation Action Plan that will guide the City's efforts towards reconciliation over the next ten years. The Plan will set out principles to guide our work, but will also include specific actions that the City will take to put its Statements of Commitment to Indigenous People into action. Many of these actions will be designed, developed and carried out with Indigenous partners.
