Mr. Douglas Durand, a Cultural Planner with the City of Vancouver will present important information on the various resources and grants available to non-profit societies based in Vancouver, through the City’s Cultural Services department. Mr. Durand will be joined by his Cultural Planner colleague, Diana Leung.
The information session will focus on the different types of grants, their eligibility criteria, application and assessment processes. Mr. Durand will also discuss other non-grant resources which provide support to non-profit arts and cultural groups. The information session will be translated from English to Mandarin, and Cantonese if required, ending with time for general questions and answers.

The Chinese Cultural Centre of Vancouver was founded in 1973 with the support of the government and of 53 community organizations along with that of many enthusiastic individuals. Its mission is to promote understanding and friendship between the Chinese community and other cultural groups in Canada, and to interpret and communicate Chinese culture and to facilitate exchange with other cultural groups and with the community at large.
