Join CivicAction and its Emerging Leaders Network at the 6th annual ELNstudio, where emerging leaders will come together to generate fresh ideas and innovative solutions to issues facing the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA).

CivicAction’s ELNstudio 2014 will focus on the theme Shaping Our Urban Health and will delve into the social factors that affect health outcomes – such as housing affordability, physical fitness, mental health, and public space.

This year we’ll be tackling four big questions:

1. How can we get our communities moving to prevent illnesses?
2. How can we safeguard our communities’ mental health?
3. How can we empower our communities to reimagine the use of public space?
4. How can we ensure everyone has access to good quality affordable housing?

The ELNstudio will kick-start collaboration among emerging leaders. You don’t want to miss this dynamic day of keynote speakers, panel discussions, working sessions, and generating project ideas. Check out our event agenda here.

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Dr. Kwame McKenzie, CEO, Wellesley Institute & Medical Director, Centre for Addiction and Mental Health
