2 classes in one session. Building your piece with Clay + Decorating and Glazing.

We will dry your piece, which will be ready for you to decorate and glaze in the same day

What is Hand building Pottery?

The hand building technique involves rolling out clay to an even thickness - usually 1 cm - then cutting shapes, folding, bending, manipulating and joining together to form a finished object.

It is entirely possible to make lovely pottery without a wheel.

Before ceramicists invented the wheel, hand building was the only way they could create functional and artistic ceramic forms.

The most common hand building techniques are pinch pottery, coil building, and slab building.

Pick up time
• Pick up at the Studio, 4 weeks after your Class.

We keep the Pottery at the studio for 3 months. Iif they are not picked up after 3 months we donate them away to make space for new pieces.

All materials provided by the studio.
