Event description

Description

The Pat Carlson Speaker Series visits the University of Lethbridge to tackle some of the most contentious and complicated issues of our time: climate change, individual/collective responsibility and what can be done, if anything, to halt the effects of a changing climate.

Guest speakers include:

Professor Richard A. Muller, UC-Berkeley physicist and author of the book Energy for Future Presidents. Professor Muller will discuss the compelling evidence for climate change and three action areas for mitigating the impacts of global warming.

And

University of Lethbridge Professor of Geography, Stefan Kienzle, who will discuss Alberta water management in the context of climate change.

Walk-ins are welcome, space permitting. Parking is free.
