Join the Calgary Neuropathy Association on December 21st when Dr. Gerald Pfeffer from the University of Calgary talk about the Genetics of Neuropathy.
Dr. Gerald Pfeffer M.D.C.M., PhD and Assistant Professor, Clinical Neurosciences and Medical Genetics and neurologist from the Hotchkiss Brain Institute at the University of Calgary will be speaking about some of his case studies and will be answering questions on neuropathy.
Dr. Pfeffer’s research focuses on gene discovery in hereditary neuromuscular diseases, and the mechanistic processes which cause disease pathology. This work primarily involves basic science techniques to identify novel single gene disorders. The research programme also integrates clinical research by studying genotype-phenotype relationships, and findings from para-clinical investigations.
