Speakers/Presenters: Devorah Jonas & Cheryl Lewis-Thurab

SUMMARY: You are invited to participate in this highly interactive workshop, which will showcase the benefits of coaching as it relates to working with clients before, during and after the mediation process. The aim is to evoke spirited discussions and provide greater understanding and awareness regarding the benefits and importance of client coaching prior to entering the mediation, as well as the value that can be derived from post-mediation transition coaching. This session will be of interest to Lawyers, Mediators, Arbitrators, Med-Arbs, anyone who works with clients in a mediation role, or other interested parties.


ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:

Devorah Jonas is a Family Mediator, CDC Certified Divorce Coach© and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst who specializes in supporting young families through transition. Incorporating her background in psychology, Devorah takes an empathetic as well as pragmatic approach as she works with clients at every stage of the divorce process, equipping them to make choices in which they can take pride and allowing them to build a brighter future for themselves and their children. Devorah has become recognized for her dedication to the creation of religiously and culturally sensitive resources for families experiencing transition, particularly within the Orthodox Jewish community.

Cheryl Lewis-Thurab is a Certified Career and Life Skills Coach, Facilitator and Consultant. She works with clients in career and life transitions, helping them move on to the next stage of their lives. Cheryl has spoken at events internationally. She is passionate about women and youth empowerment, diversity, accessibility and inclusiveness. Prior to starting her consulting practice she held senior roles in Fundraising, Event Management and Customer Service.
