Sarah Dailey

Embracing the Feminine & Being Present in Oneself with Sarah Dailey as she shows is how movement can unlock our inner beauty and take us to a new level of freedom and appreciation of our feminine bodies.

Sarah Dailey has been studying Classic Egyptian (Raks Sharki) style dance for six years.

What began as an alternative form of exercise, soon turned into a life-changing hobby. Sarah’s journey from pre-to-post pregnancy dance helped her become more at peace with herself, on and off the dance floor. Worries about appearance, judgements, careers, family or anything else, can often weigh us down, even unknowingly. “There’s wonderful freedom in being able to let go and be in the moment with the music and dance, be present in one’s self without the worries that often seep into our daily lives. As someone who has experienced both the meditative and spiritual side of the dance, I give my whole self to the music and the moment. I believe the best dances are those that tell a story from within, and when that happens you feel it, and the audience will also undeniably feel it. As a dancer, when you can make that happen, it’s magical.” In addition to being a dancer, Sarah is a wife, mother and Executive Director of the Seaside Downtown Development Association. She continues to grow her dance skills by taking private lessons, attending workshops, practicing, and performing in and out of the local area. Her experience includes performing with a troupe as well as soloing.

Heather Douglas

Heather Douglas will be taking us on a journey of self exploration through photography and journaling to discover your true inner spirit and how to bring it forward to begin to share your talents with the world. Heather is a writer, educator and illustrator. She is the author of two coloring books and a book of poetry. Most recently, she was awarded a writing residency through Astoria Visual Arts and is currently working on a novel. In her free time, she enjoys old growth forests, travel and anything creative.
