GET IN ON THE FUN!

AUGUST 16, 17, and 18TH!

Here's just a sampling of what to expect . . . .

  • Outdoor Arena Events - Classic Bull Riding, mini chuckwagon races, sheep dog demos, trick riders, musical drill team, team roping jackpot!

  • Mutton Bustin' - This event is FREE! However, pre-registration is required. Space is limited each day and fills up quickly! Held at the Outdoor Arena. Please note that you MUST purchase an admission ticket each, or one of the packages available, to gain entrance into the Fair. HELMETS ARE REQUIRED. Please bring your own riding/bicycle/hockey helmet. See more detailed information in the FAQ section below.

  • On The Plaza - President's Choice Super Dogs, Ride The Vibe Motorcycle Stunt Show, Pony rides, karaoke for kids, petting zoo, mechanical bull, games and activities!

  • Family Friendly Beer Gardens - Friday Nite feature event - Canada's Wrestling Elite. Saturday Nite dance to the Bow River Band. Music throughout the entire weekend. Relax and take in all the activities!

  • Midway Rides - Get your blood pumping with new rides this year!

  • Marketplace - Come on in, do some shopping, and support your local businesses! Also featuring the Marketplace stage show with circus performer and reptile show.

  • On The Green - Extreme Cowboy Alberta races

  • Food Vendors - Temp your palette! Enjoy a variety of tasty foods available throughout the Grounds!

  • Pet Valu Pet Show - Show off your pets' style and character. Free entry with three different classes of ribbons. Great prizes and tons of fun! Register at Cochrane Pet Valu.

  • Old Tyme Bearspaw Bench Exhibition - Celebrating 50 years! A family event that encourages the connection with rural life in Alberta!

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

ID will be required for the Beer Gardens.

What's the refund policy?

Ticket purchases are final. No refunds will be issued.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes! Please either have a printed ticket or present it on your mobile device. If you do not present proof of purchase at the gate you will be required to pay again.

How many times is my child able to register for Mutton Bustin'?

This is a popular event among youth. In order to fairly accommodate everyone, you may pre-register your child only once throughout the weekend. Also be aware that you MUST purchase an admission ticket each, or one of the packages available, to gain entrance into the Fair. HELMETS ARE REQUIRED. Please bring your own riding/bicycle/hockey helmet.

Is there a weight and age restriction for Mutton Bustin'?

Yes! Children must not weigh more than 60 lbs. on the day of the event and up to 7 years old. NO EXCEPTIONS!

What is the Mutton Bustin' weekend schedule?

August 16 - 4:30 pm

August 17 - 10:00 am

August 18 - 1:00 pm (all times may be subject to change so check back)
