In the rotating Summit room at the Marriott, we will have unmatched, 360° views of Canada’s capital. Within the room, we will take you to Tanzania, Uganda, Benin, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. With themed displays, landscape portraits, music and speeches, guests will be transported to the settings where CACHA works.

An inspirational address from CACHA founder Dr. Don Kilby, recipient of a 2017 Governor-General’s Meritorious Service Award

•A keynote address from adventurer and ultra-endurance athlete Ray Zahab, who has run over 7,000 km across the Sahara Desert, traversed Antarctica to the South Pole, and ran the length of the Gobi Desert in Mongolia. Ray is also the founder of impossible2Possible, a registered charity that inspires and educates youth through adventure learning, inclusion and participation in expeditions. The Canada-Africa Community Health Alliance (CACHA) is dedicated to improving the health of rural African communities. We are a non-government organization and a registered Canadian charity.

We work with local partners on programs for disease prevention, treatment, support and education for the most vulnerable populations in Bénin, Tanzania, Uganda, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Combining volunteer missions with ongoing in-country projects, we’re able to bring short and long-term support to our partner communities. Together, we build healthier communities.

As of 2017, we have:

*Donated over $7.5 million in medical supplies and infrastructure

*Treated over 200,000 patients

*Supported over 900 orphans and vulnerable children

*Built schools, mobile clinics and youth facilities

*Created training centres to empower and inspire women and youth

*Helped build healthier and stronger communities
