About this event

Did you know there are 2 billion websites on the internet? Why not learn how to make your own! In this course, students will learn how to code their very own websites using the coding languages HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Whether it’s somewhere to share about your hobbies or a place to post photos of your cat, having your own website is a ton of fun! Together we’ll learn how to add things to our new websites, design them to look amazing, and even add some fun interactive features as we explore with code.

Classes will be weekly on Mondays 4:00-5:30pm EST, from Oct. 18-Dec. 6, virtually over Zoom and in-person.

This free online course is for youth ages 9-12. Online learners are invited to join us virtually, while our learners in the Kawartha Lakes area can join us in-person at our Makerspace.

You will need a computer, laptop, or Chromebook with an internet connection to participate in this course. If you don't have a compatible device or reliable internet connection, email us at so we can help ensure you can participate.
