Collaboration – What is it? Should we do it? How do we do it? Many community organizations are involved in collaboration initiatives with other organizations, because working together enables greater collective impact in developing the most effective solutions for addressing complex community issues. However, working effectively in collaboration with others takes time, resources, extensive relationship development and courageous leadership on the part of its members. Facilitator Jo-Anne Gibson will engage participants in an interactive workshop defining collaboration and discussing best practices in establishing and maintaining community collaboration at the leadership level in our communities.
