Description

Collaboration – What is it? Should we do it? How do we do it? Many community organizations are involved in collaboration initiatives with other organizations, because working together enables greater collective impact in developing the most effective solutions for addressing complex community issues. However, working effectively in collaboration with others takes time, resources, extensive relationship development and courageous leadership on the part of its members. Facilitator Jo-Anne Gibson will engage participants in an interactive workshop defining collaboration and discussing best practices in establishing and maintaining community collaboration at the leadership level in our communities.

About the Facilitator: With over 20 years of international experience in the non-profit, corporate and government sectors, Jo-Anne Gibson understands the challenges leaders face in developing strategic plans, high performing teams and collaborations and leading successful projects and organizations. She also facilitates team planning and team building for organizations and community. She is passionate about personal and organizational development, personal and team accountability, supporting individuals and teams develop plans to help them move forward, and helping to hold individuals and teams accountable to their plans to achieve the goals they desire.
