Innoweave Webinar - October 12

Are you a collaborative, such as a Local Immigration Partnership (LIP), that wants to improve outcomes for newcomers in your community?

Do you want to increase the integration of your activities to enhance your collective outcomes or experiment with new approaches?

If so, we invite you to learn about a new program that supports innovation by collaboratives focused on Newcomers by attending a webinar on October 12th. Innoweave, an initiative of the J.W. McConnell Family Foundation, is launching a series of workshops, coaching and granting designed to strengthen community collaboratives that support newcomers. This effort is supported by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

The program will support:

  • strategic clarity in your collaborative, including helping you to identify measurable impact goals and align activities to better achieve them,

  • experimentation with new approaches by your collaborative, and

  • collaborative learning and adaptation through developmental evaluation.

Services will be tailored to collaborative needs as appropriate.

This introductory webinar will describe the program and show how you can benefit (October 12th, 12:00 ET). We encourage you to attend the webinar with other members of your collaborative (e.g. LIP). This session will run in English, and will be available in French upon request.

Following the webinar, you can submit an expression of Interest to help identify where Innoweave can further support your work. The deadline for expressions of interest is October 18th.

Finally, save the date for their first online workshop, Sharpening Impact Goals and Aligning Activities, which will be offered online on November 15th 12:00 - 3:00 ET. This workshop is designed to be attended by most of the key members of your collaborative. Collaboratives can apply through the expression of interest.

Following these initial sessions, we’ll open additional opportunities for coaching, granting and more customized workshops on topics such as developmental evaluation and experimentation.

We encourage your team to take part in the webinar together, if possible (i.e. from the same location). If this is not possible, please register team members separately.
