Description

In this 3 hour workshop participants will have the opportunity to work with renowned colourist Walt Biljan in the edit suite at Redlab. Class size is limited to 6 participants to allow for hands on training and Q&A during the session.

Topics covered will include camera raw formats and using LUTs, using scopes and matching shots, stylized looks and techniques, skin fixes and secondary colour correction, day for night techniques, stabilizing shots, sky replacements, and monitor calibration.

About Walt Biljan

Walt is one of the industry's top colourists. With 20 years of experience and a background in cinematography and film, he brings a keen artistic eye and wide range of experience to every project he works on. Walt’s always on top of new and emerging technologies, and has been trained in the study of the science of colour. While he is a colourist by trade, Walt also moonlights as a musician, and spends many a night jamming with his band.

Yes, registration is required for this event.

Is this event open to everyone?

No, this event is only open to DGC and GAP members currently in Good Standing, who have pre-paid and registered for this event through this page. There will be no payments taken at the door.

Yes, please bring your ticket as confirmation of your registration.

What is the refund policy?

If you notify the Training department within 1 business day of the event that you can no longer attend, you may request a refund for the course. Once a course has taken place, you are not able to receive a refund.
