GOOD NEWS! We've extended registration until Friday, June 15th at 12 pm! Just a heads up that if you have registered after the 12th, a t-shirt isn't guaranteed.


No need to purchase tickets for a specific heat this year, just show up 30 minutes prior to the heat you wish to attend to make sure you get your waivers and gear in time! No on-site registrations will be accepted.

Heat start times are as follows:

  • 9:30 am
  • 10:00 am
  • 10:30 am

What You Get:

Adults (13+ years), Youth (7-12 years) will receive a white Coloured in Fun t-shirt and sunglasses for the run. Children (0-6 years) will receive a pair of sunglasses. If you wish to order a t-shirt for your child (0-6 years) you can do so at check out for $10/shirt.

Run Package Pick Up

After you have signed your waivers or handed in your pre-printed and signed waivers at the waiver tent, you can head to the t-shirt tent to get your race gear. For those who wish to pick up their gear prior to the 13th, you can do so at the County of Northern Lights office in Manning from Monday, June 11th to Thursday, June 14th between the hours of 8 am -12 pm and 1 pm-4:30 pm (County office hours). Packages are only available for people who have registered prior to June 8th. Please note that should you forget or lose your gear prior to the event, no extras will be available on the run day. Items will not be mailed out, pick up only.

Run Guide:

A Run Guide will be emailed out to participants on Thursday, June 14th. It will be sent to the email you used to register for the event. It will contain information related to:

  • check-in times
  • location
  • the route you will be on
  • tips
  • and more

Please check all email folders; junk, other, focused, etc. Your guide will also have adult and child waivers. You can pre-print and sign the waivers to bring with you on race day to save time.

Post-Run:

Hopefully, you've had a blast and are brightly coloured! After your awesome day, you will receive a survey link in your email. Please fill it out to let us (the organizers) know how it went, what other fun elements could be added, etc.

Somethings to keep in mind:

  • This is a family-friendly run, open to those of all ages!
  • The route is on a gravel road, please keep this in mind.
  • Coloured powder will be thrown at participants from shoulder height down, we suggest that you wear old clothing, and children in strollers will be required to have a stroller cover.
  • We love pets, but unfortunately, we will not be permitting pets on the run.
  • Sign in will be held at the rear parking of the Nova Inn in Manning on 3rd Street.
  • Parking will be limited at the check-in location, please carpool if possible.
  • Waivers must be signed to participate.
  • Children & Youth under 16 years will be required to have a parent/guardian with them.
  • Participants under the age of 18 will require parental consent and waivers signed to participate.
  • Bring a towel or sheet to put on your vehicle seats after the run is over.
  • No glass water bottles, please.
  • Drugs and alcohol will not be permitted.
  • We're sorry, but there will be no registration refunds, even if the event is cancelled due to unsafe conditions.

FAQ:

Is this a fundraising event? No, it's just a fun run for people to enjoy, get outdoors and be active! Funds from the run will go to cover the cost of the event. If there any funds left over, the committee will discuss options for fund disbursement to local organizations and/or keep funds for future fun runs.

Is there a minimum number of participants required? Yes, in order to keep the event going, we will need a minimum of 100 people.

Is there a maximum number of participants allowed? Yes, there is a total ticket sales cap of 250.

Does my child or youth require a parent or guardian for the run? Yes, anyone under 16 years is required to have a parent or guardian with them for the run.

Is this an official timed run? No, we won't be timing you, but because of road closures in residential areas, you will have until 11:30 am to complete the course and get covered in colour! That means if you are starting at the last heat (10:30 am) you gotta hustle!

Had some much fun, you want to do it again? You can! We welcome participants to participate in another heat, should they wish. You can pay for another heat at the checkout, at a discounted rate, but won't receive another shirt or glasses. Keep in mind that the last heat begins at 10:30 am

Opps. I forgot to add promo items to my registration. Can I add them after? No. Unfortunately, you cannot add additional items (children's shirts or second heat) after you've completed your purchase. Please make sure you have added any desired additional items to your order before completing your payment.

What is the coloured powder made of, and is it safe? The colour powder is made of cornstarch and FD&C and/or D&C colours. The colour used to dye the powder is approved for use in foods, cosmetics and/or drugs. These products are not considered hazardous or toxic.

Someone I have registered can no longer make it to the event, can I transfer their ticket to someone else in the same ticket category (Adult to Adult, Youth to Youth)? Yes. All ticket transfers need to be done by the June 12th deadline. All you will need to do is update the attendee information.

Someone I have registered can no longer make it to the event, can I transfer their ticket to someone else in a different ticket category (Adult to Youth and vice versa)? Yes. All ticket transfers need to be done before the June 12th deadline. You will need to complete the ticket transfer process and update the attendee information. There is no fee to transfer tickets, but you will need to pay or be credited, the price difference when transferring tickets.

*Please note that upon updating attendee information, you will need to update the t-shirt sizing as well. Due to tight timelines and availability of shirts from our supplier, we will try our best to assure that your new t-shirt size is available, but there is no guarantee.
