Join us SUNDAY, JULY 17th, 2-5pm at The Opera House Patio for an evening of live auditions with Audience Voting for NOVICE COMEDIANS, at ACT YOUR STAGE, an all-Summer-long talent competition series, spotlighting Toronto's rising stars of Comedy, Music, Cabaret & Variety!
Our guest judge is: AL VAL, Comedian. Since 2018 when Al came out as trans, she has made appearances at 'Just For Laughs' "New Faces" Showcase, JFL NorthWest, Off-JFL/Zoofest, and has taped stand-up sets for CBC Gem ("New Wave of Standup"), Crave TV ("The Stand-Up Show with Jon Dore"), and JFL Originals. This Summer, we bring you a star-studded cast of guest judges, headliners and feature acts!
Audience Tickets: Audience Tickets: One Audience Ticket vote for their favourite contestants. Judge's and Audience's combined votes will be weighed and considered to determine the finalists who will return to compete for the Final Showdown on October 2nd, 2022.
Audition Tickets: One Audition Ticket guarantees one ticket holder one spot in the line-up for one date and time slot. Seating is not guaranteed. Auditioners are expected to come with their tightest 3-5 minutes of material.
