Event description

Description

The number 13 means many things to many people, but to us, it means it’s time to take things to another level. Another floor. A floor that doesn’t exist in most pansy ass buildings. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Sponsored by:

Cariboo Brewing (www.CaribooBrewing.com)

EZ Vape Northshore (www.EZVapeNorthshore.com)

Kat’s Fantasies (www.KatsFantasies.com)

Headlined by the one and only, the crowd favourite and supreme mistress of dirty, KATHLEEN MCGEE

Did you have that babysitter who was the first person to explain what a bikini wax was? She was the one who always snuck into your mom’s scotch, gave you a nip, then had a screaming fight with her boyfriend on your land line, warned you off all men, then the boyfriend showed up and they spent the rest of the night making out on your couch.

No? You do now.

Kathleen has been seen at Just for Laughs on The Nasty Girls Show, JFL Northwest Nasty Show, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, CBC Debaters, CBC Television, BiteTV and can be heard regularly on Sirius XM Radio. She has opened for some of the biggest names in comedy right now including Russell Peters, Hannibal Burress, Dave Foley and Ari Shaffir.

This girl's unapologetic and dark sense of humor will have you talking long after the show is over.

Hosting the evening is Sam Tonning

Sam has been called many things: often 'funny', more often 'loser'. In addition to running shows in Vancouver (which he can do because he’s good at blackmail), he has a terminally ill sense of humour. He will make you laugh at him and his misfortune. He loves long walks on the beach and Phil Collins, and for some reason his high school gym teacher and David Coverdale’s White Snake.

Our special guests for the show are:

Jordan Ducharme

Growing up in Coquitlam, Jordan Ducharme always wanted to be a comedian. After arriving in Vancouver, he's established himself as an up and coming talent in the city. Known for his dry wit and paced delivery and drawing on his experience as an amateur alcoholic, Jordan is a solid comic and one to watch for the future.

Ed Konyha

Ed has the unique perspective of a comic who has lived a lot before getting into stand-up. His favourite targets are himself, everyone else and himself. His jokes punch up, down and inward. Few subjects are off limits, but his favourite targets are real scumbags: murderers, rapists and people who eat on the bus. Ed also produces a number of independent comedy shows in the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley, including Vancouver's most popular comedy open mic, Stand-Up & Deliver!

Randee Neumeyer

Randee joined the Vancouver comedy scene in 2013 and quickly became known for her subversively creative one-liners. She brings a dark vulnerability to the stage, where her setups are as surprising and inspired as her punchlines. Randee co-created/co-hosts and performs on The List, which was in Just for Laughs Northwest for Best of the West, and is a regular at Yuk Yuk’s. You can find her at her favourite place on the internet, Twitter: @randeenoodle.

Trevor Street

Trevor’s journey to the stand-up stage has taken him to some dark and dodgy places. The Vancouver-born businessman-turned-comedian says he’d title his autobiography ‘From Pigeon Park to Beverly Hills’. His life has had its share of ups and downs, and from the experience Trevor has developed a pretty solid plan for keeping things on the up side. He recently retired from the executive suite to devote himself full-time to two personal passions: performing stand-up and spreading the message that keeps his life balanced and blissful. Prepare to be both entertained and enlightened.

Mark Hughes

Take a wholesome faced bad boy and then add therapy, with a dash of philosophy, and you begin to have Mark Hughes. Mark has opened for the likes of Jason Rouse and Doug Stanhope. His one-man show “Tragedy + Time Serviced = Comedy” finished its acclaimed first run at the Vancouver Fringe Festival and is going to be featured at the 2017 Winnipeg Fringe Festival.

The doors open at 7:00pm and the show starts right at 8:00pm.
