COMMUNION SERVICES REGISTRATION | 01|30/31| Blessed Frédéric Ozanam Parish
Event Information
About this Event
Dear Friends,
We are pleased to announce that Cardinal Collins has given all churches in the Archdiocese permission to hold Communion services during the current lock-down.
These Communion Services are short (10-15 minutes maximum); consisting of a couple of readings and prayers, and followed by the reception of Holy Communion. The challenge is that we are limited to 10 people at a time for each Service, including clergy and volunteers.
Nevertheless, we have decided to offer this to our parishioners who feel that they would benefit greatly from the spiritual support and nourishment that the Eucharist provides, especially in these difficult times. So beginning the weekend of January 16/17 we will be offering Communion Services at 15-minute increments at St. Brother Andre Catholic High School.
Since the Communion Services are short, there will be no seating provided, and thus no need to sanitize afterwards. Since we’re only allowed 10 people in the space at a time, physical distancing will not be an issue. These Communion Services will run from 3:15 pm to 6:30 pm on Saturdays, and 9:15 am to 12:30 pm on Sundays. However, pre-registration is mandatory, and unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate ‘walk-ins’.
PLEASE NOTE: There will be a limit of 8 persons per 15 minute increment. Although, this isn’t an ideal situation, we are very grateful that the Lord in His goodness has provided this opportunity to serve you in this way. May God continue to bless you and keep you safe.
