Community-Based Research in Practice: A Symposium
Tuesday, 19 May 2015 from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM (PDT)
Faculty and graduate student researchers are invited to attend a half-day symposium on community-based research (CBR).
Following the May 2014 Faculty Forum on Community-Based Research and the establishment of the CBR Steering Committee later that year, the Committee is hosting this symposium to support the development of a vibrant and diverse community of practice at UBC Okanagan.
With presentations by campus and community leaders in community-based research, dedicated time for discussion, and a lunch-time keynote by visiting speaker Dr. Colleen Dell, this symposium is a great opportunity for those already active in CBR to reflect on their practices and learn new approaches—and for those who are new to CBR to connect with existing resources and supports.
