About this event
What If We Created a Renewed and Thriving Ottawa by Our Own Hands?
A people-centred approach to seeing what Ottawa is and can become is possible
We are all creative. We can, together, be agents of emergence and sense what in this moment is waiting to be more for our city. We can be in alignment with ourselves and our neighbours.
The ways we gather to harness this creativity can be a source of renewal in working towards possible futures we haven’t previously imagined. We can begin by being curious about those in whose presence we find ourselves. We can name areas of shared caring and organize ourselves to contribute.
By holding space for each person, in whatever state they arrive, we see one another’s strengths, capabilities, and desires. In circles of trust, kindness, and compassion we can heal deep wounds. These safe and sacred spaces are a petri dish of generative possibility for ourselves and our community.
We are shifting power dynamics from power over to power with, so we can fully experience our agency and efficacy as a citizenry.
WE INVITE YOU TO JOIN US for the next in our series of conversations to surface new possibilities for the Ottawa community on January 28, 2021 from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm.
