Event description

Description

Connect with other makers at our tool library every last Monday of the month.

Learn and observe with live demonstrations starting at 7 pm on topics such as:

bikes - gardening - carpentry - painting - plumbing and many more!

On September 25th we're talking "Seed Saving & Seed Libraries"

Sick of buying new seeds every year?

Join Jordan Bouchard, Coordinator of the Ottawa Seed Library & the Community Gardening Network at Just Food, to learn how you can save some simple seeds from your garden. Participants will learn foundational concepts to seed saving & will learn more specific instruction on some good beginner vegetables, as well as how you can contribute to your local seed libraries each year. After a short presentation Jordan will be available to answer your specific Seed Saving (& general gardening) questions to help you close out the 2017 season.

These evenings provide ample time to connect, ask questions, and just hang out chatting about projects and getting tips.

For details on topics covered each month follow us on social media or check out our website.
