How will Waterloo Region take real action on climate change?

The Community Forum Series is an opportunity to share your thoughts on the Climate Action Plan and learn how strengthening local and collaborative action on climate change will contribute to a progressive and sustainable community.

LEARN about the current direction of the Climate Action Plan, including how an overall reduction target will be set for Waterloo Region, and the benefits and connections with energy and water use, economic development, local food, health, and quality of life.

ENGAGE in two-way discussion with a panel of community leaders about the proposed strategies that could be put into action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from residential, business, transportation and agricultural activities in our community over the next 10 years.

JOIN in on the conversation by attending one of the upcoming Community Forums being held across Waterloo Region and connecting with us online. Community Forums are open to all interested community members and representatives of local organizations. Please register for the forum that best fits your schedule:
