Community Information Session: Harvesting
Event Information
About this Event
Harvesting has long been a traditional way of life, allowing Métis people to live off the land and provide for their community. When it comes to harvesting areas, rights, licensing, rules, and limitations, there is a lot to know!
What would you like to learn? Whether you are an experienced harvester or are just starting out, this is an excellent opportunity to ask our in-house harvesting expert your fishing and hunting questions.
About Our Community Information Sessions
Put on by the MNA Children & Family Services Department, Community Information Sessions are a time to gather and exchange knowledge on culturally-significant topics. The aim is to create a space where Métis people can safely learn from one another, connect to community, and enhance collective well-being.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will be holding these events virtually until we can safely gather in person again.
