Community Knowledge Program: Focus Group
Event Information
About this Event
- Do you work in the immigrant and refugee-serving sector?
- Are you a researcher, a front-line service provider, a policymaker, or someone who provides other direct or indirect support to newcomers to the Greater Toronto Area?
- Do you want a chance to connect with others and build ways to share knowledge about successful settlement practices?
The Community Knowledge Program at the Wellesley Institute seeks to bridge migration research, policy, and practice. We are planning to develop workshops and resources to support the immigrant and refugee-serving sector in the Greater Toronto Area with research—both in carrying it out and sharing the results, and in staying up-to-date on the latest information about successful ways to support newcomers to Canada in these rapidly changing times.
Please join us for an online focus group on November 4, 2020, from 1:00 to 3:00pm, to help us understand what the sector needs.
If you have any questions about the focus group or the Community Knowledge Program, please contact Emily Mooney, Project Lead, emily@wellesleyinstitute.com.
This project is funded by the Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC) and the United Way of Greater Toronto.
