Event description

Description

This session will offer an opportunity for educators to engage with others working with children attending Before and After School programs in critical reflection. Looking at pedagogy of how school age children learn in different developmental areas, participants will be able to share experiences and ideas that promote quality care environments for them. Through hands on scenarios, collaborative and critical dialogue, participants can reflect on strategies to support quality that can be transferred into their daily routines and experiences.
PARTICIPANTS ARE ASKED TO PLEASE BRING SAMPLES OF PROGRAM PLANS AND OBSERVATIONS THAT THEY HAVE IMPLEMENTED IN THEIR PROGRAM THAT CAN BE SHARED WITH OTHER PARTIPANTS.

Please contact Patti Rowland at Patti.Rowland@toronto.ca if you have any clarifications or questions. Please be aware that this is a scent-free facility.
