Event description

Description

Rainbow Railroad, Capital Rainbow Refuge, Rainbow Refugee and Metropolitan Community Church of Toronto will be hosting a Community Town Hall on Canada's Role in Receiving and Settling LGBTQI Refugees at the 519 on October 26, 2017 (6:30pm-8:30pm).

In the wake of recent success of bringing LGBTQI refugees to safety, Rainbow Railroad is sponsoring a national conversation on what Canada should do to support the arrival and settlement of LGBTQI refugees.

Hear from a panel of national leaders, including Kimahli Powell, Rainbow Railroad's Executive Director, on this effort and the voices of refugees - and join the conversation!

Light refreshments to be served. Registration is required.
