About this event

*For groups only. Please select one ticket and put size of group in the checkout questions*

This canoe trip is focused on learning more about the history of Comox Lake, and what makes the Comox Lake watershed so important in the Comox Valley. Please wear clothes and shoes that can get wet, and pack sunscreen, hats, and water. This program is suitable for families with young children. This program will start and end at the main Cumberland Lake Park Campground office.

This canoe tour is led by our Park Interpreter Maddie. Maddie specialized in ecology in university, and her hobbies include birding, plant identification, and collecting rocks.

Each ticket represents on canoe, and each canoe can be used by a group of people 2-9 in size. We have two canoes, therefore we can take out two groups. Due to current COVID-19 guidelines, we cannot take out more than 9 people per canoe at a time.
