Event description

Description

Compassion Inspired Eating is a way of nourishing mind, body and spirit. A way of using food as a way to connect, nurture and transform. Each day – each time we feed ourselves – each time we look for pleasure or soothing – each time we find our self-critical voice taking over is an opportunity to practice a new way. A more compassionate way.

It takes courage to let go of what isn't working. Restrictive diets. Calorie counting. Obsessive thinking. Self-criticism.

It takes courage to reconnect with yourself, your innate wisdom, your body wisdom, and the part of you that is longing for unconditional love, acceptance, kindness and compassion.

When you do that, you can start to let go of negative coping patterns, self-defeating behaviours and self-critical, shame based thinking.

This workshop is for anyone interested in learning about the latest compassionate mind research and practices around struggles with food and body image.

Victoria Pawlowski is an Eating Psychologist, Clinical Counsellor, Registered Dietitian and Holistic Nutritionist who integrates over 30 years of training and experience to offer this integrative, progressive approach to struggles with food, body image, weight imbalance and health.

Special Guest Speaker Registered Holistic Nutritionist, Madison Agrey.

Madison is a holistic nutritionist and lifestyle educator with a focus on healthy habits and whole foods that nourish, inspiring a connection to your food, your self and your community. She works with you, celebrating the small successes and finding a plan that is tailored to your body and your way of living.
