Course Content:

  • Introduction to Computational Fluid Dynamics

  • Partial Differential Equations

  • Basics of Discretization Methods

  • Solution Methods

  • Application of Numerical Methods to Selected Model Equations

  • Governing Equations of Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer

  • Numerical Methods for the Navier–Stokes Equations

  • Grid Generation

  • Accuracy and Convergence

  • Overview of other topics in applied CFD (Turbulence modeling)

Course Duration: 36 hours (4 weeks)

Wednesdays (5:30 pm-8:30 pm) and Saturdays (5:30 pm-8:30 pm)
