About the Workshop

In this workshop, we introduce Compute Canada and give you the tools to use their computational resources in your own projects. This is a hands-on workshop so you must have a Compute Canada account to participate fully.

You will learn how to:

  • Remotely access clusters using your account
  • Submit jobs and monitor their progress
  • Estimate and allocate appropriate resources to complete your job
  • Perform trouble-shooting on the most frequent errors


Pre-Requisites

You must have an account as well as be comfortable with Unix command line to participate in this workshop.
