Rose Cousins is one of Atlantic Canada’s most beloved and acclaimed singer/songwriters. She deeply values being part of multiple music communities and is constantly fueled by collaboration. Her latest album, Bravado, has been described as ‘the sound of a heart trying to open…It invites us to feel the courage it takes to be vulnerable.”
Zamani began singing with her family at community events at age 12 and is attracting growing local and international attention, receiving the TD Halifax International Jazz Festival ‘s 2019 Rising Star Award and winning Best Original Score at the Atlantic International Film Festival that same year.
Halifax Mayor Mike Savage will open an incredible hour of performance.
