The music is bright, delicate, tender, fiery and varied – and the performers are amongst Canada’s brightest too. At this special Easter concert with the Vesuvius Ensemble, we present a unique comparison of popular and classical music for Holy Week with a particular emphasis on the “Mother of Sorrows”. This juxtaposition invites a collective meditation on the mystery which has inspired so much passion and faith.
