Confident Communication Skills
Mon, 31 October 2016, 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM EDT
A 90-minute general level workshop to help people improve their spoken communication, understanding and use of body language, and their listening skills.
Can you remember the last time you met someone you thought was a really good communicator. Was it something about their voice? The confidence they exuded? The way they stood? Or was it a combination of all that and more? And have you ever thought you’d really like to be able to communicate like that?
This fun and interactive workshop will build on voice, communication and presentation skills and focus on one-to-one conversations and intimate presentations. You will learn to improve your status, persuasion and active listening skills. You will discover key techniques to increase your impact in meetings and presentations – and you will leave with a tool box of skills and techniques to help you increase impact and influence.
- Keep the attention of your listener(s) when pitching ideas on the telephone or in person.
- Enhance your professionalism in your work environment.
- Learn to negotiate with more confidence.
Learn quick and easy to remember communication tips to help your prepare for important meetings and presentations.
