Connect Conference: The Power of ONE

For the upcoming Connect Conference, the theme will be “The Power of ONE”. The Power of ONE is focused on how one can better themselves, both professionally and personally. This theme will be influential for delegates to understand how essential it is to invest in oneself and to realize the impact of one’s abilities. ONE person can achieve something great by realizing their personal power and unlock their potential. ONE action can directly influence a successful outcome. Work together as ONE team to realize and elevate each team member's individual strengths. ONE connection is vital to expanding your network to lead you to success and open new paths for opportunities. By setting ONE goal, it will provide you with ambition to achieve that goal. We hope that this year’s theme will inspire students to collaborate, develop new skills, and realize their potential.

Highlights

At the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, our motto is “Challenge, Innovate, Connect”. We plan to represent our motto by adding a new technology-focused element to the competition. The UOAA recognizes the fast-paced technology industry, and we hope to bring awareness to the importance of improving upon those related skills. We hope to challenge the delegates with some unique scenarios, all while giving them the opportunity to showcase their skills.
