invites you to participate in a consultation meeting to discuss a proposed formal apology from the Province of British Columbia to British Columbia’s Chinese community for historical wrongs. You may attend any of the meetings held in the Lower Mainland:

The purpose of the meetings are to bring together Chinese community associations and citizens impacted by historical wrongs in order to provide a forum to present comments, concerns and stories they may wish to include as part of the official consultation record.

Minister Wat will be traveling to various communities and engaging with Chinese community associations and citizens to identify wording, delivery and other issues related to a formal apology for historical wrongs experienced by British Columbia’s Chinese community.
