About this event
Contact Conference, now in its 17th year, will continue to be fully virtual for 2022 due to the continued uncertainty in our world. We continue to see a complete transformation in the way we work, collaborate, learn, communicate, and help others. Our theme, Career Design—your DIY Project, will present new ideas to continue to adapt, learn, and pivot during a time of transition.
Contact Conference is the perfect opportunity to network with colleagues and practitioners, share ideas and best practices, expand knowledge, and participate in the latest discussions involving our practice. After a challenging year, we will continue to gain a renewed spirit and perspective on the important career development practice we are passionate about.
The conference is a professional development opportunity between career development, employment, and education, bringing speakers, presentations, and relevant insightful discussions to solutions-focused participants.
REGISTRATION POLICIES
Payment Policy: In order to qualify for the Gratitude promotional rate, payment must be received before 11:59PM on February14th or cheques must be postmarked prior to February14, 2022. If you register on or after February 15th, you will be charged the Early Bird rate. In order to qualify for the Early Bird rate, payment must be received before 11:59PM on April 1st or cheques must be postmarked prior to April 1, 2022. If you register on or after April 2nd, you will be charged the regular rate. Please note, if you register on or after April 19, 2022, you will be required to pay your registration fees by credit card at the time of registration. All registration fees MUST be paid prior to May 2, 2022 or access to the virtual conference may be denied.
Cancellation Policy: Once you register for Contact 2022, you will be granted a 72-hour “Registration Grace Period” and be eligible for a refund minus the Eventbrite fees (which consists of the payment processing fee and the service fee combined) if you decide to cancel. Please note, if you register after April 29, 2022 there will be no Registration Grace Period, and no refunds will be issued.
Due to the format of the virtual conference, no refunds will be issued for cancellation requests received after the 72-hour grace period. If you are unable to attend for any reason, you will have access to all the session recordings following the conference for an extended period of time.
Group cancellation: If a cancellation to a group conference registration order results in fewer than 3 delegates attending, the group discount no longer applies and this difference will be deducted before your refund is issued.
Delegate Substitution: Delegate substitutions are permissible. Please notify us at admin@saskatooniec.ca if you intend to transfer your registration to another person. Supply us with that person’s name and contact information, including their email address. Please note, no delegate substitutions will be permitted after April 29, 2022.
Recording: As this is a virtual event, it is possible that you will be recorded as part of the proceedings (ie, asking a question of a speaker, etc.). By registering for Contact 2022, you consent to your video being taken and published by the Contact Conference organizers as part of event-related materials.
Privacy Policy: The Contact Conference Organizers and the SIEC respect your privacy and will protect your personal information. We will not rent, sell or trade your information. The information you provide will be used to keep you informed and up to date on the activities related to the Conference. SIEC or its designate may contact you about your conference registration.
