The arts and creative industries rely on contracts. By understanding how contracts work as well as simple negotiation techniques, you can better protect yourself and strengthen your working relationships.
This workshop will help you to determine the key elements of a standard contract, to understand its drafting, and to become more familiar with the basics of its interpretation so you can better protect yourself, your art and your labour.

Please Note: Pre-registration is required. This workshop is available both in-person as well as online.
If you registered for the in-person workshop please present yourself at the YES office, situated at 666 Sherbrooke Street West on the 7th floor, 15-30 minutes prior to the start time of the workshop.
If you registered for the online workshop, you will receive an email with instructions on how to log on a few hours prior to the start time of the workshop.
