HONORARY DEGREE RECIPIENTS
Featured speakers who will address the Class of Fall 2021 include Dr. John Blatherwick, Catherine Clement, Margo Kane and Nurjehan Mawani, who will be conferred honorary degrees, and recent honorary degree recipients, Dr. John Borrows, Dr. Herb (Jay) James and Dr. Wally Oppal.

CHANCELLOR'S DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD RECIPIENT
The Chancellor’s Distinguished Service Award will be presented to community leader and SFU board chair emeritus and alumnus Chris (Syeta'xtn) Lewis at the Chancellor’s Dinner. Syeta’xtn has an extensive history of service and advocacy with the SFU community and passion for advancing reconciliation, diversity and inclusivity.
