Event description
Join Amy Stopnicki, successful food blogger and winner of the 2016 Gourmand Culinary Award on a cooking-at-home adventure. For only $40!

About this Event

Our Cooking for a Cause series was so popular last year that we are bringing it back as a three-part series in 2021. Best of all, if you decide to take part in all three of the cooking classes (two cooking classes and a mixology class), you save $15 (each class will then be only $35 each!)! You can register for all three to help a great cause and save.

In this first class, Amy will teach everyone how to make easy yeast dough that can be used in 3 different ways and as a bonus will share her recipe for an earl grey cupcake! You won't want to miss out on this one!

About Amy Stopnicki

We are very excited to kick off our Cooking with a Cause series with Amy Stopnicki as our first host on Monday, March 15. From the comfort of your own home, you'll be guided through a cooking class by a renowned chef and all-around really cool person, Amy! We will update the menu as soon as possible.

Amy is a busy mother, successful food blogger and winner of the 2016 Gourmand Culinary Award for her book, Kosher Taste (Feldheim). In Kosher Taste Amy brings her passion, creativity and experience creating balanced and beautiful meals to the page. “I love to create and I love to entertain. The warmth and beauty of sharing a beautifully set Shabbos or holiday table with friends and family is my passion and my joy,” Amy explains. Whether in her books, on her blog, Instagram or any other medium, Amy shares this joy and passion with home cooks who are looking to experience delicious new tastes and flavors to share with their families.

Amy's food journey includes a weekly food column for Metroland Media, brand ambassador, recipe creator, author, food photographer, an active social media following, and countless live cooking demos (one of Amy's favourite ways to interact with her followers!). Amy lives in Toronto with her husband and four children.

You can find Amy’s recipes, tips and ideas in her book, Kosher Taste, on Instagram @amyskoshertaste or check out her website www.amystopnicki.com

Your ingredient list and more details will arrive in your inbox after registration. We promise you'll have plenty of time to pre-shop. A couple of days before the event, Zoom link will be sent to you as well.

Wine Pairings with Highlander Wine

As the cherry on top, Highlander Wine & Spirits has agreed to offer a wine pairing for this Cooking for a Cause class. Up to two weeks prior to the event, you can mention the Sagesse Cooking for a Cause class at any of their locations and they will help you find their predetermined (and discounted) wine pairing. You should check them out.

Once again, know that by supporting this event, you truly are making a difference in the lives of individuals in your very own community.
