Join us for an exciting exploration of what makes an expert witness, on Thursday June 2, 2022 at the Sunningdale Golf & Country Club in London. Dr. Philip E. Klassen will be speaking on being an expert witness, and our leaders in the field of Personal Injury law will offer presentations on a range of topics as well as staging a trial demonstration.
A continental breakfast will be available at the start of the event.
Dr. Philip Klassen is Vice-President, Medical Affairs at Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences and Assistant Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Medicine at the University of Toronto. He is a practicing forensic psychiatrist and works in the Traumatic Stress Clinic at Ontario Shores.
Dr. Klassen has extensive experience as an expert witness and has provided expert evidence within both civil and criminal law contexts. Dr. Klassen will be discussing the psychological and practical elements to being a persuasive expert witness.
