About this Event
Women's Health Clinic presents: A Coping with Change Facilitator Training
Whether a baby arrives by birth or adoption, all families benefit from support as they adjust to the many ways a baby changes their lives.
Coping with Change facilitator training is a 2-day professional development that helps service providers understand the emotional adjustments and mental health challenges of new parents, and builds the knowledge and skills they need to support the families in their communities. The Coping with Change facilitator manual contains 15 sessions with activities and guided discussions, with adaptations for facilitators to run groups in their community.
The event will be held on January 27 & 28, from 9am to 4pm (both days), with a one hour lunch break.
The workshop fee is $180 and includes:
- Your own copy of the Coping with Change manual (newly updated for 2019!)
- Snacks & Coffee during the workshop
- Ongoing support as you facilitate the Coping with Change program in your community
