Do you ever think about your feet? What about your ankles and toes?

Do you have plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, calluses, corns, bunions or hammertoes? How about never wanting any of those!

What about your elbows, fingers and hands? Are your joints swollen, achy? Are your fingers crossing over each other?

Have you considered what role your hands play in your shoulders, back and posture?

How about how your feet affect your knees, hips and posture?

We are a whole person. When we experience pain in one part of our body it can be caused by a mis-alignment in another part of the body. It can be caused by habitual patterns and stuck stress.

In just minutes a day you can begin to self-treat your hands and feet and begin to erase the negative effects of daily wear and tear while also improving your whole body’s overall alignment, connection and flexibility.

Let’s face it, everyday life is hard on your hands and feet. Think about how often during the day your hands are in a gripping position. How about the impact that your feet take day in and day out. Stiffness and repetitive daily actions of your feet and hands without the proper exercises, stretching & fascia release can cause chronic neck, shoulder, knees, hips and back aches.

Imagine bringing balance to your body, relieving pain in your joints and increasing your flexibility. Imagine standing taller and enjoying an overall feeling of well-being and ease.

YOU CAN!!

During this 2 hour workshop you will:

  • Rebalance your hands and feet
  • Release tension in your hands and feet and feel it let go of stiffness elsewhere in your body
  • Increase flexibility in your joints
  • By stimulating certain points you will notice positive changes in digestion, sleep, anxiety and a host of other chronic symptoms
  • Hydrate your tissue, stimulate the sensory nerve endings & energize the connective tissue meridians
  • Learn how to stand properly and leave with exercises that you can do at home

Questions and Answers:

Q: What do I wear?

A: Please wear comfortable clothing and layers. During the class you can wear socks or have bare feet. No shoes are required.

Q: What do I bring?

A: Please bring water and payment if you have not paid

Q: How do I pay you?

A: You may pay by e-transfer to tanya@moveyourbody.ca , cheque made out to Tanya Willis or cash

Q: What if I sign up and pay and then can’t make it?

A: There is a 24 hour cancellation policy in effect. Registration and payment is required prior to the event.

Q: Who is this class ideal for?

A: Any level. Beginner to very active. We tend to ignore our hands and feet so it’s good for everyone with them!

Q: What will be doing in the workshop?

A: We will be releasing fascia, strengthening & stretching the hands and feet. Your calves will be included as well as your forearms, shoulders, knees & hips. We will use mostly our bodies and also balls, blocks & rollers. All props & mats will be provided. We will end with breathing & relaxation.
