Course Description:

  • Let’s admit it, the word ‘core’ has been used and abused in recent years. Its definition has become convoluted and it has lost its true meaning. The reality is, we require the ability to meet the specific demands of our lifestyle regardless of the position we are in. This requires a combination of mobility and relative stiffness in order to provide the foundation necessary for optimal posture, force transfer, and injury reduction. This course has been developed from years of clinical experience working with back pain clients and uses the most up to date research. We will utilize the A.D.A.P.T. Training System that will lead you through a simple, progressive system for assessing and prescribing spinal stability exercises. Upon completion, you will have the skills necessary to program appropriate spinal stability exercises for anyone from post-natal or back pained clients to high-level athletes.
