Corpus Christi Parish, Toronto - Sunday and Weekday Masses
Date and time
Sunday and Weekday Masses in person at Corpus Christi Parish in Toronto
About this event
Updated June 7, 2021
Dear parishioners and friends,
We are finally having again Masses with people here at Corpus Christi!
On June 7, 2021, the provincial government announced revisions to the “Roadmap for Reopening” as they relate to places of worship. The updated measures will result in places of worship opening at 15% capacity in Step 1 and 25% capacity in Step 2. We are grateful to the government for these amendments.
Step 1 of the provincial reopening plan will begin on Friday, June 11 (Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus).
Dispensation from Sunday Masses remains in effect.
Please do not congregate in large numbers in or around the church before or after Masses.
Due to capacity restrictions for gatherings in Ontario, we invite you to register for a ticket for one of the Sunday Masses, with up to 7 people in the same social bubble. We may not go over 15% capacity or 45 social bubbles for the maximum of 105 persons in the building at any time.
1 person, or more in a social bubble attending = register for 1 ticket
Only those with a ticket will be ushered and into the church at their reserved time to remain within the limit. If there will be free spots, we will be able to welcome you, but we will have to sign you in. That might prolong the waiting time for people to enter the church. Thank you for your understanding.
Those who will not arrive on time for the Mass may lose their spot, which will be given to those who will arrive without the ticket.
Please note that every reasonable precaution has been and will continue to be taken by the Archdiocese of Toronto to protect your health and safety. However, there can be no guarantees of complete protection as there will always be risks of contracting a viral infection through large gatherings.
Please do not enter the church if you have a temperature, feel ill, or have been in contact with a COVID-19 positive individual over the past two weeks.
