Event description
Cozy up for a rollicking time with The Stanley Siblings, their “woke” dad, a frazzled au pair, her charge, and some easily deluded Pirates.

About this event

Meet Samuel, the first mate, Fred'ric, an indentured sailor, Ruth, Fred's protective and loving nursery maid of seventeen years, The Pirate King, captain of the vessel, and the rest of their shipmates, as they celebrate Fred's 21st birthday, and his resulting freedom. Bound by a keen sense of duty, Fred reveals his plan to set out, on his own, without Ruth, his protective and loving carer of seventeen years. Next, meet Edith, the funmaker, Kate, the workhorse, Isobel, the peacekeeper, Mabel, the eldest, and the rest of the Stanley siblings. As they wander the coastline, isolated and maskless, they are rudely interrupted first by Fred, who, having never seen so many lovely humans in all of his life, is clumsy and insulting, then by his shipmates, who are rude and assuming. The Stanley Siblings take no sass from the patriarchal Pirates and have it in hand until their Papa, General Stanley, arrives and "tells a terrible story" to free them from the Pirates' clutches... in the meantime, Mabel and Fred have fallen for one another.

Will General Stanley's story save them?

Who are these Pirates?

How many times can a show have the word 'duty" in it?
