About this event
The University of Ottawa’s satellite campus, uOttawa Kanata North, in partnership with the Brain and Mind Research Institute have collaborated with several community partners to present Courageous Conversations. This event is to raise awareness of mental health and to showcase the range of resources available to the Kanata North community. Susan Blain, founder of the Dare to be Vulnerable Project, will open the event by hosting a courageous conversation with two well-known individuals in the Ottawa community. Erin Blaskie, a fractional CMO and an organic growth marketing advisor to startups and scaleups and Tim Kluke, President and CEO of The Ottawa Hospital Foundation - both will share their personal stories regarding mental health.
A panel of mental health experts, practitioners and researchers will come together to talk about a broad range of mental health topics. Hear from representatives from The University of Ottawa Brain and Mind Research Institute, Ottawa Public Health, the Youth Services Bureau, CHEO, QCH and The Royal.
Come join us from 9:00-11:30am on Wednesday January 25, 2023, at Hub350 for this free event. Free parking as well as coffee, tea and pastries will be available.
