Event description
A conversation with health system leaders in 4 provinces on how COVID-19 has created permanent shifts in Canadian digital health.

About this Event

The work required to conquer COVID is far from over, but we've already seen an incredible amount of progress and innovation emerging during the journey so far. Join the BC HIMSS Chapter for this special Pan-Canadian virtual event with key health system leaders from British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, and Saskatchewan to learn how COVID has created permanent shifts in the Digital Health landscape, identify the wisdom that has been gained by successes and failures to date, and discuss how collaboration and knowledge sharing across provincial boundaries has enabled rapid response and contributed to improved health system outcomes across Canada.

This engaging panel discussion will be held live over Zoom and will feature:

  • Shannon Malovec, Chief Digital Innovation Officer, Provincial Health Services Authority, BC
  • Michael Cleghorn, Executive Director, Alberta Health Services
  • Karen Hay, Director, Public Health I&IT Solutions at Ontario Ministry of Health
  • Michelle Mula, Executive Director, Digital Health, Saskatchewan Health Authority

Facilitator:

  • Marc Koehn, Chief Operating Officer, Gevity
