Celebrate World Cerebral Palsy Day with us at the 5th Annual CP-NET Science & Family Day!

October 19th, 2018 | 10am - 4:30pm
Registration opens at 9:00am!

CP-NET is excited to invite families, caregivers, clients, healthcare professionals, and researchers to join us for a day of research and celebration in recognition of World Cerebral Palsy Day.

The day will include presentations on the latest CP research and engaging panel and plenary presentations. All are welcome to attend! All talks will be presented in plain language with a family audience in mind.

Join us after the presentations for a CP Community Resource Open House and World CP Day Celebration from 3 - 4pm. Network, have fun, and celebrate all that we can do together to improve the lives of children and youth living with CP and their families!

Registration fee includes morning refreshments, lunch and a gift:
• $25 per client/caregiver/family
• $40 per clinician/not-for-profit organization representative/other

Space is limited, so please register by October 9th, 2018.

Presentations include:

CP-NET Overview/CP Around the World with Darcy Fehlings and Peter Rosenbaum. Learn more about CP-NET's work during the last five years and future steps!

F-Words with Andrea Cross, Kinga Pozniak, and Samadhi Mora Severino. This presentation will showcase the F-words journey, including how the F-words are currently being applied in practice and the hope for future applications.

Virtual CP Centre with Richard Ellenson. This presentation will scope into the use of the Virtual CP Centre, and its impact for those with CP.

Panel Discussion with Richard Wintle, Darcy Fehlings, Jessica Geboers, Grace Zelek, and moderated by Peter Rosenbaum. With the increased interest in understanding genetics in a variety of developmental disabilities, this panel will discuss the role of genetics and CP.

VR Therapy with Elaine Biddiss. Virtual Reality Therapy for CP is becoming an increasingly interesting topic of discussion in the field of childhood disability resesarch. Join the discussion to learn more about VR Therapy, and how it could benefit those with CP.
