Week 1 - August 14-18

Week 2 - August 21-25

Campers: Ages 5-10 and completed 1 year of French Immersion or equivalent

Cost: $220 per week

All campers require a Family CPF Membership for this camp. You can sign up on the National CPF site - https://cpf.ca/en/membership . CPF Membership is required to participate for insurance coverage. If you do not have your membership number at registration time, you have one week to send it to CPF.burnaby.summercamp@gmail.com . Failure to provide the membership number will result in cancelled registration less the eventbrite fee.

Note: only one family membership is required, regardless of the number of kids or weeks in the camp.

Registration starts on Friday 12 May 2023.

What should my child bring to camp?

Lunch, snacks, water bottle, backpack, swim suit, towel, runners.  Campers will be provided with a CPF T-shirt.  Please do not pack any nut products, this is a nut free camp.  Please leave valuables and unnecessary electronics at home.

Can I register my child if he/she has been accepted to French Immersion but has not started yet?

We cannot accept any children who have not completed Kindergarten but welcome you to sign them up next year! For those entering in Gr. 1 or late immersion but have some knowledge of French, please contact us.  This camp is not recommended for campers with no exposure to French as all Leaders and volunteers will be speaking primarily in French throughout the camp.

About the organizer

Canadian Parents for French (CPF) is the only organization dedicated to the promotion and creation of French Second Language (FSL) learning opportunities for young Canadians. Its members, predominantly English-speaking parents from throughout British Columbia, are motivated by the desire to have their children learn French as a second language.
